AGE OLD BATTLE STILL ON GOING

HOW: Posted a twitter post about the situation
she and many others are in, creating a big debate.

2. Parker Smith is in a conflict with her school and its dress code policies. She feels as if its very unfair to women and that its unfair how she they get picked on in such a demeaning manner. Parker posted a twitter post about the situation and received a lot of support and a lot of hate. She wishes that the school dress coding system to stop being so unfair and cruel to women.

BUILDING A BETTER EDUCATION THANKS TO AISD

WHAT: New school features.
WHERE: Athletics department, hallways, Culinary
WHEN: Bond package passed 2 years ago, building is to be done in december.
WHY: To help improve the experience of students at school.
HOW: Making a more efficient and pleasing environment.

2. Bowie High School has had a few big changes around the campus. Including New Digital Clocks  and tables in the hallway. A new culinary kitchen and are currently building a room for the trainer. This upgrades the experiences of the students at school by giving them a better environment where they are able to do more and be more efficient.

SAT AND ACT WILL CHANGE IN MARCH

WHAT: Choosing which test to take and how to prepare.
WHERE: Bowie High School.
WHEN: They take it before or after march depending on choice.
WHY: The SAT has been revised and made new.
HOW: Changes the way students have to study depending on their choice.

2. In March this year the SAT and ACT will be different based on students choices. If they take the test before march then it will be normal, if they take it after it will be the new version. This test determines what colleges the students go to and their general path for the future.

FIT BELL SCHEDULE REMAINS THE SAME AFTER PROPOSALS LAST YEAR

1.WHO: The Story is about Bowie Students
WHAT: The new schedule they have this year.
WHERE: Bowie High School
WHEN: The 2015 School Year
WHY: To fit in the FIT schedule ( haha see what I did there ).
HOW: Changed the time students have for certain passing periods and classes.

2. This year the schedule has changed for Bowie, FIT is now on tuesday and wednesdays to help students complete the work. This has changed the amount of time they have in passing periods and in class because of FIT. The new schedule makes a lt more sense than the proposed schedule they have and so far is working very well.

AISD GIVES SCHOOL BOND FOR CAMPUS RENOVATIONS

1. WHO: Bowie students noticing the new campus changes
WHAT: The Renovations they are making
WHERE: Bowie High School
WHEN: The start of this year, and right now, received the bond in 2013.
WHY: The bond we were given by AISD.
HOW: Affects the lives of the students and teachers due to the improvements to the school.

2. Bowie High School received a 16.5 Million dollar bond from AISD in 2013 to renovate and clean up parts of the school. Because of this bond Bowie has been able to make several changes to the campus, affecting the lives of the students. The students and teachers are responding positively to the changes and are really starting to appreciate the changes that have been made.
