"Life reshaped by bread"
This is a story of one mans redemption thanks to a company that has devoted its purpose to giving people another chance. This company is homeboy industries and they gave Javier Medina another chance. The story is compelling because it shows the amount of love and compassion these people have to help other people get back on track. Its a story of accepting what you did was wrong, and moving on to stop others from making your mistake. A lot of the things that medina said were very heartfelt and authentic making this story easier and more interesting to read. As I was reading the story I couldn't help to put myself in his shoes, to imagine how I would feel if I was in his situation. But then given the opportunity to change and get my life back on track again. Overall the writing for this story was quite good and If I was reading the newspaper this story would stick out to me.
